Final presentation- Colour

  We are the group which through the dance and music to presentation. The topic of this project is "Color and Emotion". we choose this topic because we think that it is impressed by us especially when i come to the university. 

  In this project, we prepare a white paper in the floor, and we put on the mass and wear the black clothes to imagine we are the dancer, then stained the different color in the soles of the feet, including the green, red, blue and yellow. Different color mean different emotion of human. In this case, the blue meaning sad, green meaning peace, red mean angry and yellow meaning happy. We think that this four color is the most common  appear in out life times.

  We using different dance ways to present the feeling of each single emotion coordinate with the music,because the color under our foot, when we are dancing, the different color of footsteps will print in the paper in the floor. The paper is our final work of our performance, but only one of the parts of our project.

  I think we are successful to present our feeling. Before we are working, we have many time to discussion how to solve the real problem in the work such as how to keep up the color in the end, the music and the place. It is also include what is the best way to present our ideas to our classmate and teachers. No matter the marks of our project finally, I think we are success to show our thinking to all of you because we solve the problems together and coordinate with each other.Therefore I think it is a success project. I feel enjoyable and happy after I finished this work. This is the meaning of mine of "successful".

  Something not go the way I want it, such as the color sticky my feet and I moisten some color in my clothes....The first one, thanks for my group mate, he cut the stupid shots in the final video,and the second one, I am so unlucky!!!

Group 4-Choice review

  This project is about a real time project. They will stay at classroom but need us to choose the choice 2 in 1, to find their group mate. The process is interesting and creative, they find her using the Facebook  locker, printer and so on.

  I think they are so attentive, maybe they had already prepared it 2 or 3 times or more. I like the interactive with all of our class, therefore I think I am joining but not watching and listening. They are also having a good preparing because they have a source to determent this topic. Anyway, it is a good work and try.

The Shadow- communication

  It is the group using the light and shade to talk a story. They use the shadow to present a story of a girl to have an operation, make herself to have a good face mass, then she can receive the admiration from others, however it just a mass, therefore she lost everything in the end.
  Although the story is simple, I am appreciate that their ideas of presentation skill. Using the shadow to talk this story is interesting, and make sense of their story because the shadow is sham, it will disappear finally. And then I can see the hardworking of them.

  The State of Things is a film recording 124 minutes in 1983. It is a black and white movie. The process of this film although associate with the actor but it more likely a narrative story. It is quite, different and similar of our live. It also showed the reality of the industry of film maker. It is rare in the era of this film. This story did not have strong stories, but filled with a subtle atmosphere of suspense reasoning. Therefore it got the award and still attracting people to watch this film. It’s describe that the a film crew here remake of Roger Coleman's masterpiece " The Survivors", a new version of the film during the shoot, but encountered a variety of difficulties. The director have no reason there is lack of source for funding, therefore the film faces the fate of forced to shoot. The director tried to contact the producer in Los Angeles, so that he can have an explanation for all the staff. Then, he found the producer hide in a mobile home because he owed money of the Mafia. In the end, they all died under the Mafia. It is a medium specific of film. It showed the life of film marker. I think the center of this film is not the story how attractive as the traditional American film, but the thinking, the finding or meaning of life and so on. It can lead the audience repeatedly to think. It is also the reason why choose this work after i read lots of works.

Steve Reich - Music for 18 Musicians [ 2008 JAPAN ] (This is the version I heard)

  In this work, its use different musical instruments and few players to compose a simple music. I read the information in the internet, I found this musical performance have CD and live. This work is challenge the concept of music of modern people. We called it be Minimalist. Most of the beautiful and pleasant music in our concept is being part of different musical instruments, complex rhythm, note, just like the music created by Mozart. But in this case, it change the concept. it just simple note and rhythm, it based around a cycle of eleven chords. A small piece of music is based around each chord, and the piece returns to the original cycle at the end. They repeat and repeat but make a special feeling of audience. In the saying of the artist, he said he would like to explore the extension of performers resulted in a growth of psycho-acoustic effects further. In the start, it may a bit fretful and going to lose patience. But when I continuous to listen, especially it add the people sound, it change to peaceful and quiet of my brain. This music focus on the beat interval, rather than the melody itself. And this work is medium specific, although it is not interactive with people, but it give a good feeling to audience. I am also surprised that it is the music of a book which called "池袋ウエストゲートパーク "that the main character love to heard. I think it is a special music especially its name "Music for 18 Musicians ". I think it being 18 parts of sound to compose, also it is meaning to give this song to other musicians to challenge a new age of truly art of music.
